Set in the late 1960s, The Bikeriders chronicles the rise of a fictional outlaw motorcycle club in Chicago, known as The Vandals.
The action-drama follows the tumultuous rise of the club as it goes from a gathering place for local outsiders to a more sinister gang.
Benny comes into conflict with the biker gang’s leader Johnny, played by Tom, as the group begins to shift towards more criminal dealings.
While the star-studded cast also features other big names including Norman Reedus and Michael Shannon.

The inspiration behind Jeff’s latest feature was Danny Lyon’s 1967 photobook, which was centered on the Chicago-based motorcycle club Outlaws MC.
The film was meant to be released in theatres on December 1 last year, but was delayed due to the SAG-AFTRA strike.
It is now set to be theatrically released on June 21 in the United Kingdom and the United States.
According to the synopsis: ‘The Bikeriders captures a rebellious time in America when the culture and people were changing.
‘After a chance encounter at a local bar, strong-willed Kathy (Jodie Comer) is inextricably drawn to Benny (Austin Butler), the newest member of Midwestern motorcycle club, the Vandals led by the enigmatic Johnny (Tom Hardy).
‘Much like the country around it, the club begins to evolve, transforming from a gathering place for local outsiders into a dangerous underworld of violence, forcing Benny to choose between Kathy and his loyalty to the club.’
The film has already garnered praise from critics, with it sitting at 84 per cent on Rotten Tomatoes.
The site’s critic consensus says: ‘Fueled by a charismatic cast and the gritty authenticity of writer-director Jeff Nichols’ approach, The Bikeriders offers a conventional yet impactful look at motorcycle culture.’
